Day 2-3: Coyhaique

Your journey into the wilderness really begins today, as you catch a flight to the capital of the Aysen region, Coyhaique. Often refereed to as the gateway to untouched and remote Patagonia, this beautiful region offers a huge variety of exciting outdoor adventures.

Choose from well-marked walking trails through thick forests, witness incredible hanging glaciers and with your expert guide take on hiking routes in Cerro Castillo National Park.

Your base here will be in a charming and comfortable hotel, placing you right in the heart of the action.

Day 4-7: The Aysen Region

A really unique experience awaits, as you visit the Marble Caves which are only accessed by boat. Along with your expert guide, float through incredible marble formations with striking turquoise reflections. Your journey continues along the shores of imposing General Carrera Lake where we will base you in a charming family-run lodge for an authentic wilderness experience.

Discover the sheer scale and beauty of the Aysen region during your time here; seeking out glaciers, exploring the secluded San Rafael Lagoon and for thrill seekers – why not try white water rafting on the Baker River.

Head to the charming and intriguing island of Chiloè by morning ferry. This is a great opportunity to really get off-the-beaten path with your guide and explore the wild beauty, coastal wetlands and traditions this mythical island offers.
