Day 1-3: Bogotá

Arrive in Bogotá and transfer privately to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and settle into the capital. Start your Colombia holiday with a visit to Paloquemao Market, a lively introduction to the country’s fruit, flowers and regional flavours. Explore La Candelaria, visit the Gold Museum and ride up Monserrate for panoramic views across the city.

Day 4-6: San Agustín

Fly to San Agustín, a peaceful region known for archaeology, rural scenery and a slower pace of travel. Visit San Agustín Archaeological Park to explore statues, ceremonial sites, tombs and the Archaeological Museum. Continue to Lavapatas Fountain, a sacred site of carved rocks, flowing water and lush surroundings.

Enjoy a guided horse ride through the countryside, combining archaeological sites with beautiful rural landscapes. Visit El Tablón and its small collection of statues and local heritage displays. Finish with sweeping views over the Magdalena River canyon.

Day 7-9: Popayán

Travel overland in your private car to Popayán and settle into this elegant colonial city, known for its heritage and cuisine. Visit Silvia to experience the traditional market and learn about the culture of the Misak community.

Join a hands-on cooking experience focused on empanadas de pipián, one of Popayán’s signature dishes. Learn from a local cook as you discover the stories and traditions behind the region’s food.

Day 10-12: Cali

Transfer to Cali and explore a city known for its lively culture, historic districts and local flavour. Visit San Antonio, the Sebastián de Belalcázar viewpoint and other cultural highlights, ending with a local lunch.

Travel to San Cipriano by brujita and discover a rainforest landscape of clear rivers, bridges and jungle trails. Enjoy time at Refugio del Amor, with natural pools, a small waterfall and the chance to float down the river.

Day 13-15: Coffee region

Continue to Colombia’s Coffee Region, where rolling hills, traditional fincas and relaxed towns set the pace. Visit a private coffee estate to learn how Colombian coffee is grown, harvested and prepared, then spend time in colourful Salento.

Hike in Cocora Valley among wax palms, cloud forest trails and sweeping Andean views, finishing with lunch in the countryside.

Day 16-18: Medellín

Travel to Medellín, a mountain-fringed city known for innovation, neighbourhood culture and a spring-like climate.

Explore Medellín’s historic centre, including Plaza Botero and its iconic public art. Ride the MetroCable to Santo Domingo for insight into the city’s transformation and hillside communities. Continue to Comuna 13, where murals, music and community projects reflect Medellín’s creative energy.

Take a day trip to El Peñol Rock and Guatapé for expansive reservoir views and colourful lakeside streets. Stroll through Guatapé’s bright streets, known for their decorative zócalos and laid-back atmosphere. End the day with a traditional meal and a boat ride on the lake.

Day 19-21: Cartagena

Fly to Cartagena and settle into your hotel, with time to relax or begin exploring the city at your own pace.

Discover Cartagena’s historic landmarks, including Castillo de San Felipe and Cerro de La Popa. Later, enjoy a guided street food tour to sample the flavours that define Cartagena’s Caribbean cuisine. Taste a range of local specialities from small stalls and family-run businesses.

Enjoy a final day at leisure to wander Cartagena’s streets, relax at your hotel or soak up the Caribbean atmosphere.

Day 22: Depart
