Day 1-3: Buenos Aires

Arrive into the vibrant capital Buenos Aires and transfer to your boutique hotel, walkable to places of interest. Your three days here can be spent exploring independently, trying a Tango show and sampling some delicious world-renowned Argentine steak with a glass of Malbec.

Be charmed by city’s vibrant and colourful atmosphere on a private guided walking tour, to see the authentic highlights of the city.

Day 4-6: Salta Province

Take a domestic flight to Salta in the northwest of the country and spend three nights in a charming hotel, discovering all this fascinating province offers. With an expert local guide, explore the colonial city of Salta with its vibrant markets colonial plazas and wonderful foodie scene.

Head out to red-rock mountain scenery, hills peppered with vineyards and charming traditional villages in the Calchaqui valleys. Here you’ll start to see authentic rural Argentine communities, indigenous traditions and warm hospitality through Cafayate to the stunning Quebrada de las Flechas.

Be wowed by the dramatic landscapes of Quebrada de las Conchas and the contrasts seen through the Salta region.

Day 7-9: Jujuy Province

As your Authentic Argentina Hidden Highlights holiday continues, you have a chance to uncover some of the most striking scenery in the country. Spend three nights in the remote JujuyProvince, exploring the natural wonders of The Salinas Grandes.

Day 10-12: Iguazu Falls

Continue your journey northeast to Iguazu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site home to the mighty and magnificent falls. We have chosen a boutique hotel at the edge of the park, giving you fantastic access to the many walking trails and view points within the park.

With an expert local guide, explore the Argentina and Brazilian sides of the falls on a variety of walkways and trails that will give you the absolute best views from each angle.

Get away from the crows and enjoy a guided hike along jungle trails to the Urugua-I stream. Go kayaking across the peaceful waters of the jungle, look out for rare wildlife, take a dip and learn more about the fascinating indigenous people of the area.

Day 13-16: Ibera Wetlands

Your Argentina adventure continues by road to the incredible Ibera Wetlands. Home to over 4,000 species of flora and fauna, this biodiversity hotspot is the world’s second largest wetland ecosystem, the scale of which has to be seen to be believed.

This is an outdoor adventurers paradise and you can expect the next four days to be filled with boat safaris, hikes, horse riding and slowed-down expeditions to seek out incredible wildlife.

Get involved and learn about the wetland’s innovative rewilding programme which has transformed the region into a success story of ecosystem protection.

Day 17-18: Buenos Aires

Leaving behind the incredible biodiversity and epic landscapes of rural Argentina, return to the capital city and spend a final day and night relaxing before you fly home.
