Day 3 – 5: The Amazon

Head to the Amazon for the best wildlife and nature experience, all while staying in a luxury suite aboard a state-of-the-art river ship. Go in search of birds, playful monkeys, sloths and maybe the famous Pink Dolphins! Your time here is spent waking early for the incredible sunrise, heading out on nature walks, jumping on skiffs to seek out the largest trees in the jungle, walk along high top canopy walkways and even kayak/ stand-up paddle board to search for wildlife in a slower more serene style. After day meandering the waters and ticking off your wildlife wish list, enjoy the luxurious comfort of the Delfin III Boat; with fine dining, a sundeck, a gym and uninterrupted views from your suite. Continue your luxury Peru adventure holiday.

Day 6 – 9: Sacred Valley

One of the best things to do in Peru is spend time in the Sacred Valley. There is so much variety to see and enjoy here; scenery, people, culture and wildlife. A truly memorable experience is our flagship community immersion activity – a day with the Misminay Community. Try your hand at brick making, cookery, Quecha lessons, textile weaving and hike to lookout points whilst hearing the local peoples stories and history. This is an important cultural experience that helps towards sustaining the community. On your other days spent exploring the Sacred Valley, go mountain biking between the fascinating sites of Maras and Moray, take a full day trek to Huchuy Qusqo archaeological complex, witness a reforestation project, go kayaking along the beautiful Piuray Lagoon to discover rare birds and stunning natural surroundings. Be amongst nature and scenery as you really take time to soak up this amazing valley. Want to combine Lake Titicaca? Everything is tailor-made, so speak to our experts to add this on.

Day 10 – 13: Cusco & Machu Picchu

The famous Machu Picchu. Start your private tour of one the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Explore the famous Inca citadel with its incredible ruins, terraces and photogenic alpacas, while marvelling at the stunning backdrop of Huayna Picchu Mountain. From the area’s high point you’ll be able to take in Machu Picchu from above: it’s quite a spectacle.

After an optional second morning visit to Machu Picchu, travel to charming Cusco. This was once the capital of the Inca Empire, and today is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and vibrant town. Take in all the key historic spots, from the grand colonial Plazas de Armas to the Inca Koricancha Temple, up to the imposing fortress of Sacsayhuaman and Q’enqo ceremonial site. Spend time exploring the iconic San Pedro Market for a taste (literally) of modern Cusco. On your spare day, choose from a range of really unique and private activities, as well as keeping time to explore, try some delicious food and relax in your 5* colonial mansion hotel. A fitting finale to your luxury Peru adventure holiday.
