Day 1-2: San José

Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival, transfer to your boutique hotel in the heart of San José, the country’s vibrant and bustling capital.

After a good night’s rest, step off the typical tourist trail with your local guide and explore the city’s hidden gems.

Day 3-4: Tortuguero

Travel by road and boat to Tortuguero National Park, one of the largest remaining areas of tropical rainforest in Central America.

Cross Arenal Lake by boat and continue your journey to the Monteverde Cloud Forest, home to some of Costa Rica’s most remarkable bird species and amphibians.

In the evening, embark on a guided night walk through the Curi Cancha Reserve to witness the jungle come alive, with the chance to discover some of the cloud forest’s most fascinating and elusive creatures.

The following day, explore the trails of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve with your naturalist guide and gain a deeper understanding of one of the most endangered and biodiverse ecosystems on Earth.

Day 10-14: Playa Potrero
