Detailed Guatemala and Belize in Luxury Itinerary
Day 1-3: Antigua
Arrive in the beautifully quaint UNESCO city of Antigua, a charming town lined with colourful buildings, cobblestone streets, lively markets and volcano views.
Your luxury boutique hotel lies in the heart of the historic town and is the perfect base from which to explore the area.
Discover the culture and culinary landscape of Antigua on a guided walking tour and venture out to a fair-trade coffee cooperative and experience firsthand how coffee is cultivated, meeting the famers who grow it and the communities that have been shaping the process for generations.


Day 4-6: Flores
Hop on a small flight to the lakeside town of Flores and check-in to your eco-lodge perched in the rainforest with a beautiful lakeshore setting. Explore the lodges tropical grounds and tranquillity of the lake by canoe, paddleboard or boat.
Early one morning, with your expert guide hike through the trails of Tikal National Park to the Mayan ruins of Tikal and enjoy the magic of the jungle come alive as the morning mist rises from the temples and the rainforest becomes alive with the sounds of tropical birds and monkeys.
In the afternoon visit the ARCAS wildlife rescue NGO and learn about the rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation of animals in the Americas.
Day 7-10: Mountain Pine ridge
Cross into the lush jungle mountains of Belize and transfer to your luxury hideaway hotel. Nestled on a river and set amongst tropical rainforest, the area is home to waterfalls, natural swimming holes, hiking trails and an abundance of flora and fauna.
Take a guided tour to the Mayan ruins of Caracol-the most extensive Mayan site in Belize and only rediscovered as recently as 1936 – visit Rio Frio Cave, before finishing with a swim at the Rio On Pools. Your remaining time is at leisure to explore the beauty of the area.
Choose anything from horse-riding, ziplining, jungle hikes, Mayan cooking classes or further exploring the ancient Mayan civilisation.


Day 11-15: Placencia
Visit Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary and Jaguar Preserve. The world’s only jaguar preserve and a superb place for hiking and wildlife sightings.
Continue south to the charming sea-front fishing village of Placencia and stay at a barefoot eco-retreat set on the white-sand beach and overlooking the calm Caribbean waters.
During your stay, snorkel Silk Cayes located just inside the Belize Barrier Reef and swim with turtles, rays and sharks before enjoying an authentic picnic lunch.
