Our Expert Tip

”In recent years, Tenorio Volcano National Park (especially the Rio Celeste trail) has faced increasing visitor pressure, particularly during peak season (December–April).  To help protect this fragile ecosystem,we recommend visiting off-peak and early or late in the day when the park is quieter. Stay at a nearby eco-certified lodge and explore with one of our local certified guides to ensure your visit can actively support conservation efforts.”
