Day 1: Central Valley
Upon arrival, transfer to your boutique hotel in the heart of San José, Costa Rica’s vibrant capital.
Spend the evening at leisure, settling in and preparing for the adventure ahead.


Day 2-3: Pacuare Reserve
Venture off the beaten path and raft down the wild rapids of the Pacuare River enroute to your jungle lodge. From locally inspired dishes to guided nature walks and comfortable riverside cabins, everything is included.
Swim in natural holes, hike to hidden waterfalls and immerse yourself in the tropical rainforest on this unforgettable three-day Pacuare experience.
Day 4-5: San Gerardo de Dota
Depart your lodge by raft and overland to the remote, misty cloud forest of San Gerardo de Dota, a sleepy village tucked away in the Talamanca mountains.
Stay at a family-owned hotel and with your local guide, seek out the Resplendent Quetzal in Los Quetzales National Park.
