What is the best time of year to visit each South American country?
Generally speaking, the best months to visit South America are between November and February. These months cover the best weather and best conditions for many National Parks, hikes, cruises and wildlife adventures. However, South America is a year-round holiday destination, depending on your interests. For example if you want to spot Jaguars in the Pantanal in Brazil, you will need to travel July-September. If you want to see the stunning Rainbow River (Cano Cristales) in Colombia, you will need to travel between July and August.
