Eco-lodges
Our top wilderness and eco lodges are a destination in themselves. These are lodges designed in absolute harmony with the surrounding nature, treading lightly and delivering world class service. Patagonia in particular lends itself perfectly to luxury eco lodges, with 5* properties like Patagonia Camp, Tierra and Explora acting as destinations in their own right. The colder climates of snow-capped Patagonia and Torres del Paine make for cosy luxurious stays with beautiful finishing touches, wide open views from rooms and exceptional food and wine on offer. For wildlife lovers, Ecuador has some incredible eco-lodges, with award winning Mashpi lodge and El Monte leading the way for world-class birding experiences. Hacienda Zuleta stands out for its authentic experiences and beautifully remote location, leaving you feeling like you have stepped back in time. The main thing all our top wilderness eco-lodges have in common, is world class guides. The specialist hiking, birding, or wildlife guides at each lodge are best in their field and will turn your holiday into the trip of a lifetime.
Nature cruises
Our nature and wildlife cruises take you away from it all and into the wilderness. In order to seek out amazing wildlife and marine life you have to journey to wild and untouched areas and what better way to do this than on a boat. Our Amazon Cruises offer some incredible luxurious touches, adventures activities or more traditional style boats to get you closer to nature. Take rainforest safari walks looking out for monkeys and caiman and enjoy sundowners on deck to the sound of birds at dusk. Our Antarctica holidays are the epitome of wilderness adventures. You are at the edge of the world, with snow and ice as far as the eye can see. This is true wilderness for nature lovers, speak to our experts about the right ship and best route that works for your dates and budget. Our Galapagos wilderness cruises get you away from everyone and everything. With your wildlife guide, go walking amongst blue-footed boobies, snorkel on remote beaches with baby sealions and kayak right from your boat. Wilderness escapes don’t get better than the Galapagos islands.

Remote beauty
When you think of wilderness escapes you think of remote destinations. Some of our favourite and most unique areas of Latin America are those where you don’t see another tourist for hours, or even days. The Puna located in northern Argentina is a great example of a true wilderness escape. Perfect for those looking for scale and scenery over luxury lodges, along with your guide and diver you can travel for 5 days in your vehicle going from one remote stark landscape to the next. Patagonia is famed for its remote and beautiful landscapes, with so much space on offer you can easily choose quieter areas to focus on, and more remote hikes where you avoid seeing other tourists. A self-drive holiday across Patagonia, taking in The Lake District, National Parks such as Lain and Nahuel Huapi, across the Seven Lakes and into Torres del Paine is an amazing wilderness route to take. Talk to our experts today if you would like to focus on wilderness lodges, remote routes and away-from-it-all adventures in nature.
