Detailed Brazil Itinerary
Day 1-3: Paraty
Transfer directly from Sao Paolo or Rio de Janeiro airports to the seaside gem of Paraty. Take a walking tour of the cobblestone colonial streets and kayak in the bay to nearby mangrove forests. For something unique, take a private jeep tour to explore the walking trails and waterfalls of the Atlantic Forest . During your stay in Paraty, visit a traditional cachaca distillery for a taste (literally) of Paraty’s cultural heritage.

Day 4-9: Ilha Grande
Continue along the Green Coast to the beach paradise destination of Ilha Grande, accessed by speedboat from the mainland. Staying at an idyllic beachfront hotel, choose from several really unique and memorable activities. Enjoy a private guided hike to Lopes Mendes Beach (regarded by many as the most beautiful in Brazil), witness the dramatic Pico do Papagaio viewpoint and join a boat tour to the postcard-worthy Blue Lagoon and a traditional Polynesian Canoe excursion. There is also plenty of time to relax and simply enjoy the world-class jungle, sand and sea views.
Day 10-13: Rio de Janeiro
No trip to the Brazilian coast would be complete without a stay in the world’s most beautifully-positioned city. We suggest a minimum of 4 nights to include Corcovado (the Statue of Christ The Redeemer) and Sugarloaf Mountain, a hike through Tijuca Rainforest for an alternative view of the city, an evening experiencing Rio’s famous nightlife with our friendly guide and some time at leisure on the world-famous beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana. Want to include some wildlife in your Brazil adventure? Speak to our experts about how to include Jaguar spotting, or time in the Amazon Rainforest.
