Day 1-3: Buenos Aires

Arrive in the exciting capital of Argentina and spend a few days exploring and relaxing.

We have included a lovely boutique hotel which is walkable to the must-see highlights. Take a private guided walking tour, try some delicious steak and red wine at one of the cities famed restaurants and catch an iconic Tango show.

Day 4-7: Ushuaia

Catch a morning flight to the southern most city in the world, Ushuaia. You have three full days here to explore all this incredibly beautiful region has to offer.

With your expert guide, choose from a range of walking trails in the stunning Tierra del Fuego National Park, visit a family-owned ranch and learn more about traditional farming and canoe down rivers and through stunning lagoons.

This is an outdoor adventure paradise. On your last night, meet your fellow Antarctica expedition travelers for a briefing on your cruise.

Day 8: Embarkation

Your Antarctica, South Georgia and Falklands adventure really begins as you board your expedition vessel and set sail.

Day 9: Southern Ocean

As your cruise journeys to the Southern Ocean, you’re likely to see some amazing seabirds gliding alongside the ship, such a petrels and albatrosses.

The Polar experts on board will talk through the wildlife of the region and offer some fascinating insights into the ice and seas of this wild and untamed region.

Day 10: West Falklands (Malvinas)

As you officially arrive into the West Falklands (Malvinas) you have the opportunity for your first landing, which is always an exciting highlight of a polar cruise.

With your guide, walk through stunning coastlines with pristine landscapes all around you, looking out for Rockhopper, King and Magellanic penguin rookeries.

Day 11: Stanley, East Falklands (Malvinas)

Your in-depth journey continues to the East Falklands and on to the largest settlement in the archipelago and capital of the Falklands, Stanley.

Walk across the vivid white sand bays of Gypsy Cove where you’re likely to see two-banded plovers, black-crowned night-herons, oyster catchers and Magellanic penguins.

If time allows, include a visit to the Falklands Islands Museum to learn more about the local natural history and the 1982 war.

Day 12-13: Southern Ocean

Today you officially enter Antarctic waters as your cruise sails across the Antarctic Convergence and into South Georgia.

The scenery will be spellbinding, as you float past majestic icebergs and spot whales emerging from the sea.

Day 14-17: South Georgia

As your Antarctica, South Georgia and Falklands adventure continues, the next three days are spent exploring snow-capped mountains, awesome fjords and glacier-carved bays.

Learn more about the legendary explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton at the Grytviken whaling station where you guide will show you the places of interest.

South Georgia is teeming with history and is rich with wildlife. Look out for elephant seals that gather on the shoreline, and hundreds if not thousands of King penguins.

Day 18-19: Scotia Sea

Your polar odyssey continues to as you sail the open seas to the Antarctic Peninsula.

Keeping sustainability in mind, especially during your time in this delicate eco-system , you have the chance to participate in live projects run by the onboard Citizen Science program. These play a vital role in understanding and recording the impact of climate change and what can be done to help.

Your expert Polar team on board are always on hand to talk through their knowledge of the geology, wildlife and history of the regions you visit.

An unforgettable wildlife cruise in Antarctica

Day 20-23: Antarctic Peninsula

Your adventure reaches the heart of the Antarctic Peninsula where you can expect daily shore excursions using zodiac boats to take you as close as possible to some incredible wildlife. Sail through narrow straits, have close encounters with whales, explore picturesque bays and meet Adélie penguins in their natural habitat.

Every day in the Antarctic will be different, with no two landings the same. The captain and on board experts will assess the daily conditions and each excursion is adapted to this.

When you are on land there are some thrilling activities to choose from, like walking, kayaking and possibly camp under polar skies for a true once in a lifetime experience. Soak up the sheer peace and profound silence of this mysterious and awe-inspiring region.

Day 24-25: Drake Passage

Your journey out of Antarctica begins as you cruise back towards Ushuaia.

Reflect on your memorable moments with your fellow expedition travelers, over a last supper and some delicious wine.

Share memories and favourite experiences of your privileged time on the White Continent.

Stay on a traditional estancia in Pampas, Argentina

Day 26-28: Pampas

As your ship docks, transfer back to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Time now for a total contrast, as you are driven to the serene Pampas countryside where for the next two nights, you can totally switch off and unwind.

Stay in a traditional estancia and experience authentic gaucho life, incredible Argentinian food and wine, countryside strolls, horse riding and some down time to reflect on your adventure before you head home.
